Project Steps

1. After preparing the glass, position the floral heart near the brim of the glass. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the heart onto the glass.
• This design was etched in stages. The technique allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously. Additionally, it enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit.
2. Looking through the back of the glass, position the cherubs on either side of the heart, as close as possible to the bottom area of the heart. Use the etching cream, as before, to etch the cherubs onto the wine glass.
