Project Steps

1. After preparing the glass, place 2 L’s centrally located near the top of the mug. Working from the middle outward, add the remaining letters for the word. To etch the entire word at once, two sheets are required. Otherwise, etch the L’s individually.
2. Position a ball stencil centered below the LL’s. Leave a gap between the bottom of the letters and the top of the ball stencil. Place another ball stencil on either side of the first.
3. Snip the side strips on the stencil sheet at the corners. Use 2 strips to cover the bottom edge of the letters and the top edge of the balls.
4. Follow the etching cream directions to etch the stencil shapes and the open space between the letters and balls.
