Project Steps

1. This design was etched in stages. The technique enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit. It also allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously.
2. After preparing the glass, arrange floral and butterfly stencils along one side of the heart.
3. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the designs onto the heart.
4. Thoroughly clean the glass. Arrange and add stencil images in the open spaces between existing ones on the glass, etching between additions, until the desired look is achieved.
