Project Steps

1. This design was etched in stages. The technique enables stencil images to be placed in closer proximity than the stencil borders would otherwise permit. It also allows the use of a particular stencil image multiple times on the same project when you don't have enough to etch all simultaneously.
2. After preparing the glass, use the hover and press method to position the heart stencil on the ornament.
3. Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the heart design onto the glass.
4. Beginning with the letter in the middle of the name place the letter stencil under the point of the heart. Starting from the middle letter and working outward and upwards, continue adding the letters.
5. Use the etching cream, as before, to add the name to the glass.
