Glass cloches, or bell jars as they are otherwise known, are dome shaped covers commonly used to protect plants and food. Ever useful, they come in a wide array of shapes, sizes and colors making them a perfect vessel for artistic exploration. In this article we look at a few examples of glass etching applications for these understated heroes in the fight against the elements, pests and accidents.

Wild Side Plant Cloche. Get some Grrrr in the garden with this jungle cat design on an animal print plant cloche. Craft some ferocious fun and create a safari spirit amongst the plants. Plant cloches can be used indoors or out making them a wonderful addition to both the garden and garden themed décor.

Gnome Food Cloche. Rustic and folksy, this gnome cloche will add a little fairy tale whimsy about the house. Great for covering your delectables, it also makes a charming decoration when filled with a woodland scene.
