Preparation and Usage Starting Skills

Project Steps

To etch the entire design at one time requires 3 of the repeating patterns sheets. To use only one sheet, etch the heart squares one at a time onto the glass.
After preparing the glass, draw a centerline down the back of the vase with a china pencil or water soluble marker. See the centerline tutorial if necessary.
Turn the vase over and position the square heart stencils on either side of the line as shown. Place the valentine stencils in the open spaces opposite the stencil squares.
Follow the etching cream instructions to etch the designs onto the vase.
